At Dormify, our primary focus has always been ensuring a smooth transition to school - whether it be your first time on campus or your senior year! Our priority continues to be providing the best possible service for embarking on a college journey, and with this in mind, unfortunately, we cannot provide a Buy Now Ship Later program at this time.
We highly recommend placing your order as soon as possible to avoid your favorite items selling out!
Many of our customers prefer shipping items like comforters, duvet covers, sheets, towels, etc. directly to their home, so they can be washed before their move-in date. No one wants to hit the laundromat during move-in day!
By shipping directly to your home, you’re able to go through their order and confirm you received your entire order, whether you want to return any eligible items, etc. You don’t want any surprises when arriving for move-in so this will give you peace of mind.
For larger items, you can always ship directly to your school, or your hotel if you are staying near campus. In this case, you may want to place a second order closer to your move-in date. If you have any family or friends in the area, you can also ship there if they’re willing to temporarily store it for you!
Please note, we cannot reserve any items and our top-selling items are expected to sell out quickly. If you do decide to ship directly to your school, you will need to make sure you enter your school's complete dorm mailing address including your resident hall name.
Make sure to check with your mailroom to see when your school starts accepting packages on their students' behalf. This is usually a very tight window and packages will be refused by the mailroom and returned to sender to process as a return if arriving too early. Most schools want to avoid becoming a storage facility during the Summer leading up to move-in.
Double-check the shipping address before placing the order to include specific information pertaining to the school, including:
-Residence Hall name
-Unit/Dorm/Room # or Floor/Suite #
